About Iota

Iota is a Seattle-based company that is bringing the power of national voice and text to Android-based touch screen tablets and other mobile internet devices. Our first product, FLEX is a fun and easy to use, wearable GSM phone product that connects tablets and other devices, via Bluetooth, to GSM networks around the world, including AT&T and T-Mobile.

Every person with a cell phone uses voice and text as an essential part of communication. Today, that market is owned by a few of the big wireless carriers. Many device manufacturers, such as those porting Android, are virtually prevented from offering voice and text as a product feature. Iota solves these problems, making it easy, for example, to deliver a full Android phone experience on virtually any internet Android connected device.

Our goal is to empower customers to effortlessly make calls and send texts on any device - not just their cell phone.
